| Getting
there |
By
Car: (approx 85 miles from HW)
Take the M40 east to join the M25 south (anti-clockwise). Join the M23 southbound at junction 7 and continue on the motorway and then the A23.
As you near Brighton on the approach to the junction with the A27, keep right and turn into Mill Road where there is a park and ride scheme. No cars are allowed near the stadium on match days, unless for access to private properties, so public or organised transport and walking is the only way to the stadium. There are a couple of Park and Ride schemes, one in Mill Road (as above) and another at Mithras House, Lewes Road. Both schemes should be indicated on your matchday ticket. The Capacity of the Withdean is just 6,000 and away fans are allocated 700 tickets, so make sure you have a ticket before travelling. |
Train: Preston Park is nearest station and is just over half a mile from the ground. It's served by Connex and Thameslink trains and you can get connections from Brighton mainline station (Journey time around 5 minutes). Connections to Brighton from London are via London Victoria and the approx. total journey time from High Wycombe is 2 and a half hours.
Check www.railtrack.co.uk
