Getting there
By Car: (approx 183 miles from HW)
M40/M42 west to join M6. Exit M6 at junction 16 (A500). At roundabout follow signs for Crewe. After about two miles, turn right at roundabout (A5020) towards Crewe; left at the next roundabout (0.8m); straight on at the next (Rookery pub on right), passing the Brocklebank pub on the left; then left at the next - and final - roundabout, taking you into Nantwich Road, passing the Crewe Arms Hotel on your right and Crewe Station on your left.
Train: Crewe station is situated very close to Gresty Road. To connect from the south, travel from London Euston. You connect from High Wycombe via London Marylebone or join the service at Watford Junction.

Martin Taylor - Taylor spent a short loan spell at Crewe in 1996 while still at Derby County. Joined Wycombe in 1997 and has since gone on to make close to 300 First Team appearances.
Mark Foran - Former Sheffield United defender who spent an unspectacular loan spell at Wycombe in August 1995. Went on to spend three seasons with Peterborough but made just 25 League appearances before moving to Crewe and then Bristol Rovers in the summer of 2000. Also made one loan appearance for Oldham during the 1996/97 season.
Brian Parkin - Goalkeeper Parkin began his pro career with Oldham in 1982 but made just six League apps before moving on to Crewe. Also spent a couple of seasons with Crystal Palace before he settled with Bristol Rovers where he made over 250 apps over seven seasons. Moved to Wycombe from Rovers where he made 29 apps in a two season spell between July 1996 and May 1998. Also played one game on loan for Notts County in October 1998 but wasn't asked back! Returned to Bristol Rovers in 1999 as part of the coaching staff.
Gary Blissett - Former Crewe striker who spent a short spell on loan at Wycombe during December 1995, making 4 appearances while he was on the books of Wimbledon. Made 122 League appearances for Alex between 1983 and 1987, scoring 39 goals. Also returned there on loan during the 1995/96 season.
