By Car: (approx 180 miles from HW)
Leave Wycombe on the A404 towards Marlow and join the M4 westbound at junction 8. Continue on M4 for 87 miles and then exit at junction 20 to join the M5 westbound. Continue for further 76 miles before exiting at junction 29. Continue on A3015 (Honiton Road) for about 1 mile and then take the B3183. After two miles at the roundabout take the the fourth exit for the B3212 (Western Way). At the next roundabout take the second exit (Old Twerton Road). The ground is on the left in St James Road. However, be advised there is very limited parking close to the ground and park and ride schemes operate from alternative carparks. Check www.rac.co.uk

St James Park station is close to ground and is served at regular intervals on match days from Exeter St Davids. Connections to Exeter St Davids from High Wycombe can be achieved via London Marylebone and then getting the First Great Western service from London Paddington (total journey time is about 3 hours 45 minutes. Paul Buckle - Midfielder who made three appearances at Wycombe during the 1992/93 season while on loan from Brentford where he was a trainee. Played for Torquay United before switching to The Grecians in October 1995 - making 22 League appearances.
Went on to spend three season at Colchester United before returning to City in the summer of 1999 for a further
two year spell. Spent time with Aldershot and Weymouth before returning for a third time to the Grecians
in December 2004. Eventually retired from the playing side at the end of the 2006/7 season aged 37.
Joe Burnell - Former trainee with Bristol City who made 62 appearances for Wycombe during an injury dogged two year spell following a free transfer from Ashton Gate in the summer of 2004. Went on to have a similar spell at Northampton Town before a year in the Conference with Oxford United. Joined The Grecians in the summer of 2009.
John Cornforth - Joined
Wycombe from Birmingham City during the 1996/97 campaign but left in May 1999 after
failing to regain the form that gave him Welsh International honours. Was briefly at Scunthorpe in 1999/2000 before moving to Exeter City in February 2000 where he made 24 League appearances before retiring from the playing side at the end of the 2000/2001 season.
Sean Devine - Popular striker at Wycombe who scored 42 League goals in 88 appearances between
March 1999 and January 2003 - including vital goals that helped fend off relegation at the end
of the 1998/99 season under Lawrie Sanchez. Spent considerable time out through injury at Wycombe
and was eventually sold to Exeter in controversial circumstances in January 2003. Originally signed for
Wycombe from Barnet.
Scott Golbourne - Defender who spent who two loan spells at Wycombe from Reading during the 2006/7 season under Paul Lambert, making 39 appearances and scoring once. The former trainee with Bristol City went on to have loan spells with Bournemouth during the 2007/8 season (8 apps) and Oldham Athletic during the 2008/9 (8 apps) before being released from Reading and signing for The Grecians in the summer of 2009.
Chris Vinnicombe - Former trainee at Exeter who made 39 League appearances before moving to Scotland to
play for Glasgow Rangers in November 1989. Returned south to play for Burnley, before moving to Wycombe
in August 1998 under John Gregory. Went on to notch up more than 250 apppearances before returning
briefly to Exeter in the summer of 2005.
Also:
Jack Obersteller - youngster who joined Wycombe in the summer of 2007 under Paul Lambert
but never made the First Team. Loaned to Grays Athletic while at Wycombe before a permanent move
to The Grecians in the summer of 2008. Made his Football League debut as a late substitute in the 4-1 victory
at Macclesfield on 27 September 2008. Returned to Grays in the summer of 2009.
