Background: A youngster with Wigan Athletic, making his First Team debut for The Latics as a substitute in a 2-0 League Cup defeat to Crewe Alexandra on 19th September 2006, aged 18. However, that proved to his only appearance for Wigan and after loan spells with Cheltenham Town (twice) and Chesterfield was signed by Peter Taylor at Wycombe in July 2009.
